Printify (part of FYUL, formed in 2024 through merger of Printful, Printify, and Snow Commerce) is seeking a Legal Counsel specializing in Compliance & ESG to join their growing global team. This is a hybrid role based in Riga with the option to work remotely.
You will serve as a key legal advisor supporting the company's compliance and ESG initiatives across multiple jurisdictions. Your responsibilities include conducting legal research to identify applicable legislation and outline compliance requirements; ensuring compliance efforts adhere to global regulatory and industry standards; collaborating cross-functionally with Operations, HR&ESG, Platform, Product, and Marketing teams to align project implementation with business needs; providing timely legal advice on international matters and managing legal risks across multiple jurisdictions; leading compliance-related projects and supporting teams in establishing and managing internal processes requiring legal support; participating in calls with internal stakeholders, clients, suppliers, and partners across time zones to provide legal guidance and assist in partnership negotiations; and overseeing compliance-related document management systems and processes.
FYUL powers on-demand commerce at global scale, serving solo creators through entertainment giants with merch production, advanced technology, and global reach.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum 3 years of legal experience, ideally combining in-house and law firm roles
- University degree in law (Mag. iur.) required; LL.M. from U.S. university is a strong advantage
- Experience with U.S. market or international business environment, particularly in compliance-related roles
- Solid understanding of civil law; previous work in compliance, due diligence, or compliance framework development
- Experience or familiarity with ESG-related legislation (PPWR/EPR, ESPR, EmpCo directive)
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and adapt in fast-paced environment
- Interest in or experience with legal technology tools and print-on-demand/e-commerce industries
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively
