Qevlar is a B2B SaaS scale-up focused on AI-driven cybersecurity, helping Security Operations Centers transition from reactive to proactive threat management through autonomous alert investigations. The company has raised $44M from top-tier VCs (EQT Ventures, Forgepoint Capital, Partech), deployed solutions with major enterprises like Sodexo and GlobalConnect, and achieved multi-million dollar ARR by end of 2025.
As Legal Counsel, you will own commercial contracts end-to-end, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of agreements including MSAs, DPAs, SaaS agreements, and vendor contracts. You'll partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Leadership to support go-to-market efforts while managing legal risk pragmatically. Your role is highly operational—you'll work to unblock deal cycles, structure contracts that balance speed with risk, and enable the business to move fast.
Key responsibilities include building scalable legal processes by creating templates, playbooks, and guidelines that increase autonomy across the business. You'll provide clear, business-oriented legal advice rather than theoretical opinions, and support broader legal topics including data protection, compliance, and general corporate matters as needed.
You bring 4+ years of in-house experience in B2B SaaS (ideally in cybersecurity, data, or AI-based products), with a strong background in commercial law and contract negotiation. You have exposure to international contracts (US/EU), experience working closely with Sales and GTM teams, and thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. You're pragmatic about balancing risk and speed, communicate complex legal concepts simply, and are fluent in both French and English.
