You'll join as the second lawyer on the Legal team, reporting to the Head of Legal, with broad ownership across commercial, corporate, and compliance work. This is a high-impact role with significant autonomy to shape how Legal supports Omnea's rapid scaling into multiple markets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements (MSAs, SLAs, DPAs) with enterprise clients
- Collaborating with enterprise sales and customer success teams to identify legal roadblocks and negotiate favorable terms that drive deal closure
- Managing high-volume enterprise contract workflows and triaging to help sales teams prioritize negotiations
- Developing playbooks and fallback positions for common enterprise negotiation scenarios to accelerate deal cycles
- Partnering with product, engineering, and security teams to advise on legal and compliance implications of new features, particularly around data handling, AI capabilities, and user privacy
- Conducting legal reviews on product releases to ensure alignment with evolving data privacy regulations
- Supporting product teams in developing compliance documentation and AI policies
- Supporting corporate and strategic projects, including fundraising and international expansion
You'll be a qualified solicitor with minimum 3 years' PQE from a top law firm, with proven expertise negotiating complex, high-volume SaaS agreements with enterprise clients. You'll have demonstrable experience with data privacy and international compliance frameworks (GDPR, SCCs, DPAs), and the ability to advise confidently on cross-border data transfer and regulatory issues. You thrive in fast-moving environments, manage competing priorities at scale, and are comfortable operating with incomplete information. You're genuinely interested in how AI and legal tech can transform legal work, and your judgment is relied upon for both legal matters and commercial strategy. You communicate complex issues clearly to leadership and customers, and can manage large portfolios of concurrent negotiations with multiple stakeholders.
