This Legal Counsel role is embedded within the business rather than siloed in a traditional legal function. You'll work alongside Product, Growth, and Commercial teams from the earliest stages of product launches, market entries, and scaling initiatives. Your responsibilities include owning GDPR compliance, navigating multi-jurisdictional regulatory requirements across European markets, and structuring legal and compliance infrastructure to support rapid expansion.
Key focus areas: turning legal risk into competitive advantage; helping new market entries become progressively faster through refined legal playbooks; managing contract review and negotiation as part of core business strategy; and ensuring compliance frameworks enable rather than impede growth.
The role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment and views legal strategy as integral to business success. You'll report into leadership and have direct influence on how the company scales across Europe.
