Gong is seeking a Senior Manager of GTM Legal for EMEA to serve as the primary legal partner supporting the company's growing go-to-market organization across Europe. This is Gong's first dedicated legal team member based in Europe, working in close collaboration with the U.S.-based legal team. In this role, you will independently lead complex enterprise customer negotiations, partnering with Sales, Deal Desk, Security, Privacy, Finance, and Product teams to accelerate revenue while managing legal risk. You will draft, review, and negotiate complex enterprise SaaS, software licensing, professional services, AI, privacy, and technology agreements. Your responsibilities include serving as a trusted advisor to regional business leaders, building relationships across the EMEA sales organization, and helping evolve legal playbooks, templates, and contracting processes based on regional market insights. You will exercise practical legal judgment to balance commercial objectives with appropriate risk management, support strategic customer negotiations across the region, and partner closely with the global GTM Legal team to ensure consistency in contracting positions and customer experience. You will also support special projects and cross-functional initiatives as Gong scales globally. The ideal candidate is a qualified lawyer in Ireland, the UK, or another European jurisdiction (or an exceptionally experienced commercial contracts professional) with 7–12 years of experience negotiating complex commercial transactions, including substantial in-house experience at a SaaS or enterprise software company. You should have demonstrated experience as a primary legal partner supporting enterprise sales, significant experience with enterprise SaaS agreements (including software licensing, professional services, data processing, and information security terms), strong business judgment, excellent communication skills, and comfort operating independently while collaborating with distributed teams. Preferred qualifications include experience supporting EMEA enterprise sales, strong knowledge of GDPR and European privacy laws, experience at high-growth SaaS companies, experience improving contracting processes and legal operations, and experience with AI or cloud software offerings. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the Dublin office.
