Atoms is building Physical AI—real-world robots for industries including food, mining, and transport. The company integrates hardware, software, AI, operations, and manufacturing to deploy intelligent systems at scale.
As Legal Counsel, you will serve as the primary legal advisor for Atoms' APAC business, with a focus on real estate and commercial matters. Your responsibilities include negotiating and drafting real estate and commercial contracts; providing expert legal counsel on partnerships with restaurants, leasing, asset acquisition/disposition, and procurement; structuring and negotiating partnership agreements; and collaborating with business units to establish policies and best practices for commercial and real estate transactions.
You will negotiate commercial contracts with enterprise customers, help establish and maintain corporate entities across APAC markets, and find creative legal and regulatory solutions for the rapidly growing global business. You'll conduct legal and compliance training for internal teams, manage outside counsel relationships and spending, and support all legal needs of the APAC business including commercial, corporate, litigation, employment, real estate, data privacy, and IP matters.
This is a scale-up environment where you'll face diverse legal challenges beyond your core expertise. You should be comfortable working outside your comfort zone to address issues efficiently and quickly.
Required qualifications: 5–10 years of strong law firm and/or in-house experience, including real estate sector experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Commercial contract negotiation experience is essential. Qualified to practice law in a jurisdiction where Atoms operates, including Singapore. Strong analytical, research, and drafting skills; ability to communicate complex legal matters clearly to non-legal stakeholders. Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin or Traditional Chinese is advantageous. Experience with Legal AI tools is valued but not required.

You build and maintain relationships across all levels and geographies, handle multiple simultaneous tasks under tight deadlines, and remain composed during uncertainty.
