Alan is a prevention-focused health insurance company serving 1M+ members across 40K+ companies, with €800M+ ARR. The company is scaling to 10 countries within five years and building a Corporate team covering legal, privacy, governance, risk, compliance, and security. You will join as Legal & Compliance Operations, a newly created role focused on making regulated work scale seamlessly as Alan grows. Rather than traditional legal work, you'll build the compliance infrastructure and tooling that allows Alan's regulatory load to grow without proportional increases in manual work. Key missions include: (1) creating systems and processes that absorb regulatory complexity so Corporate's workload doesn't climb in lockstep with company growth; (2) redesigning painful end-to-end processes by understanding workarounds and rebuilding them faster for all stakeholders; (3) proactively identifying bottlenecks and designing solutions that maintain compliance without sacrificing speed; (4) measuring impact of every change to ensure both Corporate and the teams they serve benefit. In your first six months, you will ship a system giving teams one simple way to access Corporate resources, own at least one process from problem identification through live automation, and become a trusted builder for both the Corporate team and internal stakeholders. You bring hands-on experience building things people actually use—automating manual work with no-code, low-code, or AI tools. You're drawn to regulated work and want to understand why processes exist and where they create friction. You ramp up fast on new domains. You're fluent in French and English at professional level. The ideal candidate has a builder mindset (moving fast, prioritizing ruthlessly, favoring delivery), an explorer mindset (curious, solution-oriented, escalating early), appetite for regulated complexity, sound judgment about legal/privacy/security boundaries, project ownership from research through post-launch adoption, and clear stakeholder communication. You must be legally eligible to work in France, Belgium, or Spain. Remote flexibility is offered, but in-person collaboration is valued.
