Salary: USD 140,000 - 170,000 / annual
Eve is an AI-native legal technology platform serving plaintiff law firms. The company has achieved product-market fit with 1000+ law firms, raised $160M+ from top-tier investors (Spark Capital, A16z, Menlo Ventures, Lightspeed), and is growing 2X revenue quarter-over-quarter. The team includes engineers and operators from Scale, Meta, Airbnb, Cruise, Square, Rubrik, and Lyft, collaborating directly with OpenAI and Anthropic on AI workflows for legal work.
Intake is the highest-leverage moment in a plaintiff firm's client relationship—cases are signed or lost here, often before files are opened. This role owns intake as its own discipline: the technical build, integration work, and end-to-end relationship with every firm implementing it.
You will own voice agent customization for every firm in intake onboarding, including call flow design (personality, firm knowledge base, objection handling, case-type-specific questions), transfer rules, staff directories, and call/lead scoring criteria tuned to each firm's actual intake process. You'll set up the full intake stack alongside integrations engineering: phone system integrations (RingCentral and others), CRM/DMS handoff (Clio Grow, Lead Docket, Smart Advocate), and e-signature setup so retainers can be signed while clients are still on the phone.
You'll establish the standard for "fully onboarded" on intake—checkpoints, sequencing, judgment calls—ensuring every firm lands in a good spot and stays there. You'll turn what you learn into training and documentation that raises what CSMs and other team members can handle independently. You'll also carry a book of intake-focused accounts, including intake-only and "land and expand" deals that require specialized setup expertise.
Requirements:
- J.D. or meaningful legal operations experience at a plaintiff firm of substantial size
- Deep understanding of intake from real experience: call flows, lead qualification, objection handling, case viability assessment
- Ability to translate operational knowledge into technical builds—comfortable configuring and iterating on AI-driven workflows, not just describing how intake should work
- Strong documentation and systematization skills to turn personal knowledge into team playbooks
- Cross-functional collaboration skills with CSMs, integrations engineering, and law firms
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct experience with legal intake or voice AI platforms (RingCentral, Clio Grow, Lead Docket, Smart Advocate, or similar)
- Consulting experience layered on legal or intake operations background
- Experience training non-technical teams on new workflows or tools
