Carwow is Europe's largest online car marketplace, combining technology, media, and automotive expertise. The company recently acquired Autovia (AutoExpress and Evo magazines), creating a powerhouse with 10M YouTube subscribers, 350M+ annual web reach, and £3bn in annual car transactions.
As Leasing Pricing Specialist, you'll be the pricing engine for Carwow's UK leasing marketplace. Your core mission is ensuring the marketplace always offers the most competitive, best-covered leasing deals, enabling the sales team to generate and convert more leads.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyze funder ratebooks and marketplace data to identify supply-demand gaps and guide Procurement on sourcing strategy and price points
- Own and manage all ratebooks (including building custom ones), ensuring daily pricing accuracy across the marketplace
- Manage ratebook uploads to Carwow and third-party aggregators, removing stale deals and capping leads as needed
- Serve as the in-house pricing expert advising Procurement on supply opportunities (dealer finance, commitment batches)
- Build models and tools (leveraging AI where beneficial) to improve speed and accuracy for pricing and commercial teams
- Monitor supply and deal competitiveness across brands, models, categories, and partners—tracking overall marketplace health, not just Leasey's position
- Partner with the Marketplace commercial team to source optimal supply from broker partners using whitespace analysis
- Track competitor pricing and translate market intelligence into clear priorities for Procurement and Marketplace teams
You'll need strong analytical skills (expert Excel/Sheets, comfortable with BI tools like Looker/Power BI, ideally SQL), comfort building models and using AI tools (Claude, Cursor), and a solid grasp of vehicle leasing economics (residual value, cost of funds, on-the-road pricing, VAT, commission, ratebook mechanics). High attention to detail, commercial mindset, and ability to translate analysis into actionable recommendations are essential. Experience in vehicle leasing, motor finance, or data-rich commercial/pricing environments is desirable, as is understanding marketplace dynamics.
You'll work hybrid from Carwow's Winnersh office (minimum 3 days/week in-person), partnering closely with the Procurement team.
