ARX Robotics, a European defense tech company specializing in autonomous unmanned systems and sensors, is seeking a Lead Training & Workforce Services professional to build the central capability that qualifies personnel who operate, maintain, and support ARX systems.
In this role, you will translate maintenance tasks, repair responsibilities, customer commitments, and workforce demand into comprehensive qualification profiles, practical training programs, certification systems, and a scalable train-the-trainer model for current and future customer and service hubs.
Key responsibilities include:
• Designing role-based qualification profiles derived from maintenance levels, task analysis, repair responsibilities, LORA logic, and the scope of each hub or customer organization
• Creating a technical training architecture with curricula, practical modules, materials, assessments, and update routines for technicians and service roles
• Establishing a train-the-trainer multiplier model that enables hubs to train and qualify their own personnel while maintaining central standards
• Implementing certification governance including initial certification, recertification, status tracking, evidence requirements, and escalation procedures
• Collaborating with hubs on workforce planning to translate service demand, maintenance workload, customer commitments, and attrition risk into workforce requirements
• Ensuring a closed update loop where changes to maintenance concepts, technical documentation, software, tools, or field procedures are reflected in training requirements
• Building scalable enablement systems and materials that transfer to new hubs and adapt to changing products and customer environments
• Creating measurable qualification operations with visibility into certified-technician coverage, time-to-qualification, and certification currency
You will work across Maintenance, Engineering, Product, Operations, and customer-facing teams in a hands-on, build-oriented leadership capacity.
Requirements:
• Several years of experience in technical training, workforce qualification, service enablement, maintenance training, or comparable environment
• Experience designing qualification profiles, curricula, practical assessments, or certification systems for complex technical products
• Ability to translate maintenance tasks and technical requirements into clear, teachable, and assessable competencies
• Practical experience with train-the-trainer or multiplier models
• Strong coordination skills across cross-functional teams
• Discipline in managing training records, certification status, and recurring updates
• Understanding of workforce planning and ability to connect hub demand with available skills and capacity
• Hands-on, build-oriented leadership style with clear communication skills for both technical experts and field personnel
Note: The company welcomes motivated candidates eager to grow into the role and develop expertise further; you do not need to meet every requirement to apply.
