As Lead Solutions Engineer for France within the Solutions Engineering Western Europe team, you will lead the design of complex, high-impact robotic automation solutions from concept through delivery. You will shape customers' logistics strategies by proposing innovative, value-driven alternatives that challenge conventional approaches. Your role bridges technical expertise and sales strategy: translating customer challenges into compelling technical narratives that drive winning outcomes, while influencing key stakeholders through clear articulation of Exotec's value proposition and strong technical alignment.
You will collaborate with partners and suppliers to co-create best-in-class solutions, holding them to the highest standards. You will drive technical excellence by embedding Exotec methodologies, supporting the sales team through complex project leadership, and acting as a recognized expert in your technical domain to elevate team capabilities and decision-making. A key responsibility is empowering teams and partners through impactful training content and best-practice sharing.
Travel is required: twice monthly to visit clients, and once monthly to headquarters near Lille.
**Requirements:**
- Experience selling complex solutions in a warehouse automation environment
- Engineering or supply chain background with a strong track record in complex solution design
- Proven experience engaging with demanding customers in a pre-sales or solution-driven environment
- Strong business acumen combined with deep technical expertise
- Ability to influence, convince, and navigate complex stakeholder environments
- Natural leadership with a drive to mentor and elevate others
- Fluent French and English, comfortable operating in an international context
