ARX Robotics, a European defense tech company specializing in autonomous unmanned systems and sensors for NATO and civilian first responders, is seeking a Lead Service Engineering professional to build the analytical and operational foundation for how ARX systems are maintained, repaired, and supported from product development through in-service operation. In this role, you will define service requirements early in the product lifecycle, establish the Service Readiness Baseline, assure reliability and maintainability targets, prepare operational hubs for execution, and respond with technical depth when acute field demands arise. Key responsibilities include: - Defining and maintaining service requirements for maintainability, diagnostics, repairability, service access, tools, test equipment, and technical documentation - Establishing an Integrated Product Support baseline including maintenance concepts, maintenance levels, LORA (Level of Repair Analysis), and task analyses - Establishing and tracking MTBF, MTTR, failure distribution, maintenance intervals, and repair turnaround metrics - Maintaining lifecycle control to keep reliability assumptions, repair concepts, field findings, configuration changes, and design decisions connected and traceable - Defining and validating hub readiness including personnel qualifications, tools, test equipment, documentation, spares, and escalation paths - Owning technical service content, documentation depth by maintenance level, and controlled release/change/version logic - Responding to acute technical field demands that cannot be resolved remotely, working with Technical Support Centers, hubs, and Product & Engineering teams - Converting curated field evidence into prioritized improvements to product, maintenance concepts, documentation, training, or service organization - Deriving requirements and workshopping specifications for tools and test equipment from maintenance levels and LORA You will work across Product & Engineering, Technical Support Centers, customer hubs, Training, Documentation, Commercial, and Key Account teams. REQUIREMENTS: - Several years of experience in Service Engineering, Integrated Product Support, Integrated Logistics Support, reliability, maintainability, or field-service engineering for complex electromechanical, robotic, vehicle, or industrial systems - Experience defining service and support requirements during product development and participating in design reviews or technical release decisions - Strong practical experience with maintenance concepts, LORA, task analysis, reliability analysis, and repair-level definition - Ability to translate failure data and operational experience into targets, maintenance actions, staffing needs, spares, tools, and technical documentation - Experience working with MTBF, MTTR, failure distributions, maintenance intervals, or comparable reliability and maintainability measures - Hands-on experience in technical diagnosis, field repair, commissioning, or recovery of complex systems - Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills with judgment to balance lifecycle assurance with immediate field restoration needs The company offers competitive compensation with bonus opportunity, 27-30 vacation days, employer-supported pension, learning & development support, hybrid working setup, and relocation support where applicable.
