Salary: USD 175,000 - 218,000 / annual

Zip is an AI-powered enterprise procurement platform trusted by leading companies including T-Mobile, OpenAI, AMD, Mars, and Dollar Tree. The platform orchestrates procurement across teams, tools, and suppliers using AI agents, helping enterprises save billions in spend and process hundreds of billions in transactions. You will own Zip's competitive intelligence strategy and market positioning function. This is a strategic role that bridges product marketing, competitive analysis, and go-to-market enablement. Your core responsibilities include: - Develop and execute Zip's competitive intelligence strategy, conducting in-depth research on market trends, competitive offerings, and emerging threats - Monitor and analyze competitor messaging, pricing, partnerships, and GTM strategies to identify positioning opportunities - Create and maintain competitive analysis materials including battle cards, competitive briefs, and objection-handling guides for sales and customer-facing teams - Deliver training and enablement sessions to sales, customer success, and other teams on competitive advantages and market dynamics - Partner with product managers to translate competitive insights into roadmap decisions, feature prioritization, and differentiation strategies - Collaborate with marketing and analyst relations teams on thought leadership and industry report positioning - Synthesize complex competitive and market data into clear, actionable insights that inform GTM strategy, campaigns, and sales plays - Stay current on industry trends and procurement technology innovations to maintain Zip's market leadership You will work on a hybrid basis (3 days per week) from Zip's downtown San Francisco or NYC office. REQUIREMENTS: - 7+ years of experience in product marketing, competitive intelligence, market research, or related field - Demonstrated ability to extract insights from data, articulate findings, and influence stakeholders on strategic proposals - Strong project management skills to execute multiple simultaneous projects while meeting deadlines - Foundational product marketing skills including messaging & positioning, GTM strategy, audience segmentation, sales enablement, content creation, and market research - Proven track record building and maintaining strong relationships with sales, product management, and cross-functional teams - Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication and presentation skills - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively - Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field NICE TO HAVES: - Experience and/or domain knowledge in B2B procurement, finance, or workflow management - Deep understanding of enterprise technology sales motion and end-to-end customer lifecycle - Master's degree or MBA
