Salary: USD 220,000 - 240,000 / annual
SafelyYou is an AI-driven healthtech company focused on transforming senior living care through proactive intervention. The company uses proprietary AI, hardware, and remote clinical expertise to detect changes in resident activity, mobility, sleep, and routine—enabling care teams to prevent falls, elopements, and hospitalizations rather than react to them.
You will own the Proactive Care product from validated problem through commercial adoption. This is a 0→1 role where you define how AI signals translate into actionable care workflows that fit seamlessly into caregiver routines and EHR systems. You will not own the AI models themselves; instead, you partner with SafelyYou's AI & Intelligence platform team to define what signals care teams need and establish quality thresholds.
Key responsibilities include:
**Discovery & Validation**: Uncover needs across executive directors, wellness directors, caregivers, and clinical staff. Test concepts with real care teams before committing engineering resources.
**Product Development**: Define MVPs, run alpha and beta programs with design-partner communities, and set clear exit criteria at each stage gate. Target a validated product in market within one year.
**Workflow Design**: Create intervention workflows that respect caregiver routines, integrate with EHR and eCall systems, and prioritize precision over volume. Ensure workflows respect resident privacy, consent, and dignity.
**Metrics & Outcomes**: Establish baselines and drive improvements in two key areas: (1) earlier detection—share of meaningful changes caught before adverse events, and (2) faster action—time from change detection to caregiver response.
**Business Case**: Link clinical interventions to measurable ROI (fewer hospitalizations, lower liability, longer length of stay, addressable care gaps). Take proven bets to expansion with Sales and Customer Success.
You will work closely with AI, design, engineering, clinical teams, and Customer Success throughout.
**Requirements:**
- Hard requirement: You have taken a product (not a feature) from 0→1 to commercial adoption. Typically 6+ years in product management or equivalent (founders welcome).
- Experience building products for clinical, caregiving, or other high-stakes operational workflows.
- Data and ML literacy, including understanding precision/recall tradeoffs and ability to communicate signals clearly to non-technical users.
- Bias for prototyping and testing with real users early and often.
- Commercial acumen: ability to tie outcomes to ROI for enterprise buyers.
- Strongly preferred: senior living or post-acute care experience, clinical background, or prior work on EHR-integrated products.
