AirOps is an end-to-end content engineering platform built for the AI era, helping brands get discovered by AI-driven platforms. The company has achieved 5x revenue growth in the past year, serving marketing teams at companies like Ramp, Chime, Carta, and Rippling. Backed by top-tier VCs including Greylock, Unusual Ventures, Wing VC, and Founder Collective, AirOps is headquartered across San Francisco, New York, and Montevideo.
As Lead Product Manager for New Verticals, you will operate as a founder-in-residence with the backing of AirOps' scale, capital, and execution speed. Your mandate centers on exploration and validation: identifying untapped marketing and acquisition channels, running aggressive quantitative experiments, building robust analytics foundations, and formulating investment hypotheses for multi-million dollar product initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- 0-to-1 channel and product incubation: uncover, size, and test new business expansion opportunities to evolve AirOps into a complete growth marketing ecosystem
- Data-driven experimentation: formulate crisp hypotheses and execute rapid, quantitative tests to evaluate activation, adoption, and expansion potential before committing engineering resources
- Measurement and analytics foundations: build core funnel tracking, success metrics, leading indicators, and custom dashboards to rigorously validate or invalidate channel viability
- Investment playbooks: transform validated experiments into repeatable GTM playbooks, pricing models, and business cases guiding company-wide resource allocation
- Customer co-building: partner directly with forward-thinking marketing and growth leaders to translate edge-case feedback into scalable product bets
You should bring a founder archetype background (founded a company, led product at early-stage startup, or spearheaded 0-to-1 growth bets at hyper-growth companies). Strong quantitative and data skills are essential—you build dashboards, write SQL, analyze complex funnels, and make confident decisions with incomplete data. You operate with a hypothesis-driven mindset, moving at high velocity to test low-fidelity MVPs and validate demand before over-engineering. You combine exceptional product instincts with brutal prioritization, balancing customer empathy against high-leverage opportunities. Executive presence and cross-functional collaboration skills are critical.
Nice-to-have experience includes building or scaling data-dense products in MarTech, AdTech, SEO, AI Search, or Content Marketing, and navigating rapid expansion phases ($10M to $50M+ ARR) at venture-backed tech companies.
