Posh is a community-building platform that helps people discover and create in-person (IRL) communities based on shared interests. Founded by event organizers, the company has grown to 70 employees, 8M+ users, $70M in venture funding, and facilitated over $350M in transactions in 6 years.
As Lead Product Manager for Consumer, you will own the future of Posh's consumer app, specifically event discovery and social discovery—the highest-leverage problem space in the company. Your mission is to build the re-engagement loop that transforms single event attendees into repeat users who return to Posh to find experiences and communities across multiple verticals.
You will not inherit a pre-built roadmap. Instead, you'll partner with UXR, design, GTM, and leadership to define what discovery means on Posh. This involves running top-of-funnel product discovery and visioning work, then translating that vision into multiple concurrent, shippable bets and prototypes. You'll be equally comfortable in ambiguous "what should this even be" territory and in disciplined, metrics-driven execution on higher-confidence bets. Because Posh is a two-sided marketplace, every discovery and engagement bet you make will connect back to organizer success, creating a flywheel that benefits both consumers and organizers.
Key responsibilities include: developing and executing comprehensive product strategies aligned with Posh's vision; collaborating with UXR, GTM, design, and product teams on research and market insights; managing the product development lifecycle from concept to launch; establishing and owning key performance metrics for the consumer product; proactively addressing trade-off decisions between consumer and organizer needs; coaching and improving team expertise; and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships with executive leadership.
Ideal candidates have 6+ years of product management experience, with ownership of discovery or growth at a consumer marketplace or social app. You should have shipped large initiatives with clear business impact, ideally including 0-1 first-to-market product bets. Demonstrated prototyping skills are essential—you've used AI and other tools to articulate ideas when design or engineering capacity was limited. You can run structured top-of-funnel product discovery and visioning work (archetypes, problem mapping, strategic framing) that leads to real roadmap decisions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required, along with familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Productboard, or Linear. A track record of delivering successful products that drive measurable business growth and passion for live events and IRL experiences are highly valued.
This is a full-time, in-person position at Posh's New York City office in SoHo, requiring 5 days per week onsite.
