Signal 1 is building the AI management and orchestration layer for healthcare AI. Health systems are rapidly adopting autonomous agents that can take action across clinical, operational, and administrative workflows. Signal 1's AI Management System (AIMS) enables health systems to manage their entire AI portfolio while providing infrastructure for confident adoption of agentic AI. Customers include leading health systems such as NewYork Presbyterian, Inova, and Mount Sinai. In this role, you will deeply understand customer needs and pain points, collaborating with a small team of engineering, product, customer success, and data science from problem to solution to delivery. You'll prototype and think through broad user flows for new features, generate high-fidelity designs that deliver elegant and intuitive experiences, and create and maintain a scalable design system that allows the team to ship rapidly. Signal 1 is a small, ambitious team tackling problems that don't yet have an established playbook. Joining means helping shape not only the products, but how health systems manage and deploy the next era of AI. REQUIREMENTS: - Proven experience as a lead, senior, or only product designer in B2B enterprise SaaS startups - Demonstrated history designing niche and/or technically complex products; deep understanding of users' needs paired with sufficient understanding of technology to make sound design decisions and trade-offs - High agency and resourcefulness to gather information needed for decisions, paired with strong design intuition to make good, fast calls even with incomplete information - Clarity, succinctness, and precision in visual, written, and verbal communication; ability to present design ideas to internal stakeholders and customers in understandable ways that invite feedback and build alignment - Fast, organized, AI-native way of working; ability to move quickly without dropping things and use AI tools daily to speed up every step of the product design process without sacrificing quality - High bar for craft; push beyond "does it work?" to "does it feel right?" and carry that standard through every detail, from individual pixels to how each piece fits into the product as a whole
