Salary: USD 125,000 - 195,000 / annual
MetaMask, a leading self-custodial financial platform with 100M+ downloads, is building the next phase of decentralized finance. The design team is establishing MetaMask as the premier wallet in fintech while leading industry standards for Web3 design.
You'll own the end-to-end design of MetaMask's Prediction Markets experience—a high-growth area sitting at the intersection of trading, sports, news, and culture. This is a greenfield opportunity: the product is still evolving, and much of the user experience remains to be defined. You'll take ideas from early conception through launch and iteration, working closely with Product and Engineering to shape not just how the product looks, but what gets built.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the Prediction Markets experience from early thinking through launch and ongoing iteration
- Define how users discover markets, understand market mechanics, trade, and manage positions
- Simplify complex concepts like probabilities, liquidity, and market mechanics into clear, intuitive experiences
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to influence product direction and strategy
- Prototype rapidly using AI tools to explore ideas and accelerate toward stronger solutions
- Set and maintain high standards for visual and interaction design, using research and data to drive continuous improvement
You'll work in a remote-first, global team rebuilding how money works—a problem that touches everyone, every day.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio of shipped consumer products
- Proven track record of delivering impactful, customer-centric designs that solve complex problems and drive commercial outcomes
- Exceptional visual and interaction design craft, with strong product instincts and meticulous attention to detail
- Experience taking complex or ambiguous problems from early ideas through to shipped experiences
- Comfortable using AI, code, and modern design tools to explore, iterate, and build quickly
- High ownership, strong communication skills, and confidence to push work forward without waiting for a perfectly defined brief
- Genuine passion for sports and understanding of how fans follow teams, leagues, games, and major sporting events
BONUS EXPERIENCE:
- Background in trading, investing, fintech, sports, betting, marketplaces, or other high-frequency consumer products
- Interest in prediction markets and the category's potential
- Experience working with market data, probabilities, charts, or financial positions
- Experience designing discovery, feeds, ranking, or personalized content
- Experience with crypto or Web3 (deep crypto knowledge not required)
