Klaviyo is seeking a People Analytics Partner to transform HR data into actionable business decisions. This role operates as a strategic partner to the people team and business leaders, combining deep analytical expertise with business acumen to drive decisions around compensation, hiring, performance, retention, org design, and culture.
Key responsibilities include:
**Strategic Partnership & Influence**: Build deep relationships with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, and business leaders. Provide actionable insights that influence critical business decisions, shape high-impact questions proactively, and confidently challenge conclusions when data suggests otherwise.
**Employee Listening & Workforce Signals**: Design and implement a comprehensive employee feedback strategy beyond annual surveys. Conduct interviews, design survey instruments, analyze results, and arm leaders with real-time pulse data on engagement drivers and improvement opportunities across the organization.
**Data Storytelling & Narrative**: Move beyond dashboards to create compelling data narratives that connect people metrics to business strategy. Develop insights that drive action, not just information, and communicate the "why" behind key metrics to influence organizational decisions.
**Scalable Self-Serve Infrastructure**: Leverage AI and modern BI tools to build dashboards, reporting systems, and automation that enable stakeholders to self-serve 80% of routine insights. This frees your time for high-impact investigative work, novel questions, and deep-dive analysis.
**Additional Responsibilities**: Support compensation and performance cycles (merit, equity refreshes, pay equity analysis), workforce and headcount planning with scenario modeling, collaborate with data engineering on Snowflake data warehouse development, ensure data governance and responsible use of sensitive people data, and tackle ad-hoc strategic projects from senior leadership.
Required qualifications: 8+ years in people analytics, HR analytics, or related analytics function at high-growth tech companies. Demonstrated ability to craft compelling people data narratives that influence senior leadership decisions. Strong SQL proficiency and fluency with BI/dashboarding tools (Tableau or equivalent). Proven track record solving complex, ambiguous problems independently with raw data. Evidence of transforming data into narratives that changed actual business decisions. Experience building self-serve tools or processes that reduced dependency on analytics team.
