Coupa Software is seeking a Technical Lead, AI Data Governance to own the data governance and gateway strategy for the company's growing portfolio of AI tools and agents. This senior individual contributor role is responsible for ensuring that data flowing into Coupa's GenAI and agentic applications is governed, trusted, and fit for purpose. You will oversee the API gateway in front of LLM traffic, enforcing policies that protect the company and its customers.
Reporting to the Director of Data Governance, you will partner daily with Enterprise Data Management, AI Delivery & Execution, and InfoSec teams to establish and maintain robust data governance frameworks. Your work will directly impact the safety, reliability, and trustworthiness of Coupa's AI-driven platform, which serves a global network of 10M+ buyers and suppliers managing trillions of dollars in spend data.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing data governance policies for AI/ML applications
- Managing API gateway configurations and LLM traffic policies
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams on data quality and compliance
- Ensuring data security and regulatory adherence across AI systems
- Mentoring and guiding team members on data governance best practices
