Salary: USD 146,000 - 194,000 / annual

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Lead Data Analyst for Manufacturing to join its Digital Manufacturing team in Costa Mesa, California. In this role, you will lead a small team of data analysts while developing analytical solutions that drive day-to-day decision-making across product lines and new product development initiatives. Key responsibilities include leading and mentoring a team of data analysts on solution development and maintenance; engaging with manufacturing and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure team success; collaborating with manufacturing leadership to implement analytics-driven solutions that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality; conducting detailed analysis of manufacturing data including production metrics, process flow, and resource utilization to identify improvement opportunities; monitoring industry trends and best practices to keep analytical tools at the cutting edge; creating comprehensive documentation of analytical solutions and continuous improvement strategies; leading kaizen, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma initiatives; providing strategic input on capacity planning and workforce management; implementing and refining manufacturing KPIs; and supporting new product development from a manufacturing perspective. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred); 8+ years of experience in manufacturing strategy or analysis roles with a track record of driving tangible results; 2+ years of direct team management or complex cross-functional project management experience; proficiency with data visualization and analysis tools including SQL, Python, Typescript, Tableau, PowerBI, PLTR Foundry, and MS VBA; strong analytical and statistical skills; familiarity with manufacturing software and lean/Six Sigma methodologies; excellent communication and presentation abilities; and U.S. Person status due to access to export-controlled information.
