The Lead Data Analyst is a senior individual contributor role (Level IV) on the Data Analytics team with no direct reports. This role leads through expertise: setting analytical standards, mentoring junior analysts, and serving as the go-to person for leadership when rigorous answers are needed.
Data Analytics sits under Revenue Operations but functions as a central team supporting the entire organization—clinical operations, supplier performance, payor and network data, product, finance, and go-to-market. The work is intentionally broad, requiring analytical strength and range across multiple business domains rather than deep specialization in one area.
Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end analyses on high-stakes, ambiguous questions from problem framing through recommendation and impact measurement. You'll design dashboards and reporting frameworks that enable stakeholders to answer routine questions independently while recognizing when dashboards aren't the right solution. You'll set the bar for analytical rigor, methodology, and documentation through example and peer review. The role involves applying statistical methods, experimentation design, and causal inference where they genuinely sharpen conclusions. You'll partner closely with analytics engineers on data modeling, shaping warehouse layer development rather than just consuming it. You'll mentor analysts on technique and business judgment, helping newer team members develop their skills. You'll also identify opportunities where data can drive efficiency, growth, and improved outcomes, including questions the organization hasn't yet asked.
