Graphcore is building hardware, software and systems infrastructure for next-generation AI compute. As an Analytics Engineer, you will own the analytics engineering layer within Graphcore's data platform, building curated models, trusted metrics and semantic structures that teams across the business can use with confidence. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand how decisions are made, then translate raw data and ambiguous questions into governed datasets that support real action. This is a senior individual contributor role with broad ownership and visible impact across the organization. The Data & Analytics team builds trusted data foundations, scalable platforms and high-quality data products through close partnership with teams across business, product, engineering and operations. You will act as the bridge between stakeholders and data engineers, shaping models that reflect how the business works, not just how systems store data. Decisions are grounded in evidence, clear definitions and practical delivery. You will be expected to challenge assumptions, take responsibility and help raise analytics engineering standards across the company. Key responsibilities include building production-quality dbt models for reliable self-service analytics, designing maintainable transformation layers in modern data platforms, translating business requirements into intuitive governed data models, defining and maintaining trusted metrics and KPIs, and communicating with confidence to influence decisions and challenge assumptions constructively. Required experience: demonstrable production dbt modeling, strong SQL skills with transformation layer design, ability to translate business requirements into data models, grasp of analytics engineering practices (layering, documentation, testing, semantic consistency), experience defining trusted metrics and curated datasets, and practical communication style.
