As Lead Accountant for China & Hong Kong, you will own the complete finance and accounting function for both entities, reporting directly to Quince's Finance Controller in Bangalore. This is a hands-on, on-the-ground role requiring physical presence in China to manage day-to-day operations across both jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities include:
• Accounts Payable: Process and pay supplier invoices for both entities, maintain AP aging schedules, ensure fapiao-compliant documentation for China, and manage payment terms.
• Employee Reimbursements: Review, approve, and process expense reimbursements in compliance with company policy and local regulations.
• Books & Records: Maintain general ledgers for both entities, post journal entries, and ensure monthly reconciliation to the group ERP (NetSuite).
• Prepaid Expenses: Track and amortize prepaid items including insurance, licenses, rent, and other costs.
• Fixed Assets: Maintain fixed asset registers, depreciation schedules, and track additions/disposals.
• Intercompany Support: Process and reconcile intercompany invoices and payments between China, Hong Kong, US, and other group entities.
• Local Statutory Compliance: Maintain books under PRC GAAP, manage local tax filings, and work with local tax and audit consultants, banks, and regulators in both jurisdictions.
You will work closely with accounting teams in India and the US, serving as the primary on-ground finance resource for the region.
