As Lead Accountant, you will be a senior individual contributor supporting the accounting function at a fast-growing technology company. You will report to the Director of Accounting and independently manage diverse accounting work, including month-end and quarter-end close activities (reconciliations, journal entries, consolidations, eliminations, allocations), intercompany transactions, subsidiary funding, and international entity compliance. You will support external audits and financial reporting, maintain audit-ready documentation, and partner with Finance, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and Legal teams to resolve complex accounting issues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support month-end and quarter-end close, including accruals, prepaids, inventory, internal software capitalization, and intercompany transactions
- Manage intercompany transactions and subsidiary funding requests across international entities
- Review reconciliations and drive process improvements and automation opportunities
- Support treasury activities, audit requests, and ad hoc financial analysis
- Identify and implement process improvements that strengthen controls and reduce manual work
- Partner cross-functionally to resolve accounting issues and improve financial processes
This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong technical expertise, sound judgment, and a continuous-improvement mindset who can independently solve complex accounting issues and help strengthen accounting operations as the business scales.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a fast-growing technology, SaaS, or multinational organization
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, or equivalent preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial close processes, intercompany accounting, and statutory compliance
- Experience managing complex reconciliations, audit requests, and accounting documentation across multiple entities
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze large amounts of financial data
- Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills with ability to build consensus across teams
