Salary: USD 110,985 - 195,825 / annual
STOKE Space is building Nova, a fully reusable launch vehicle designed for daily flight operations. The company is seeking a Range Operations professional to manage government relationships and coordinate launch complex operations at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between STOKE and government partners including Space Launch Delta 45, Space Launch Delta 30, NASA, FAA, and the Coast Guard. You will manage all aspects of range coordination for the company's dedicated launch complex, including development, construction, ground testing, and orbital launch campaigns.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with local, state, and federal government entities
- Managing range documentation, reviews, and submittals per SSCMAN 91-710 and applicable range requirements
- Coordinating range reviews, approvals, and permitting for design, construction, CONOPS, and hazardous operations
- Providing on-console support during test, launch, and recovery operations
- Managing budgets and tracking expenditures with government partners
- Representing STOKE at government reviews, technical meetings, and stakeholder engagements
You will work as part of a small, well-supported team with access to resources needed to execute effectively. The role requires the ability to stay focused, move fast, self-direct, and learn continuously in a dynamic aerospace environment.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree, minimum 5 years' experience in range coordination, range operations, launch vehicle processing, or ground operations within aerospace or similar high-performance industries. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong prioritization and execution abilities, and willingness to relocate to the Cape Canaveral area.
Preferred qualifications include prior experience at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station or Vandenberg Space Force Base, military service, and familiarity with SSCMAN 91-710 requirements.
ITAR compliance required: U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for required State Department authorizations.
