In this role, you will join Qonto's Dutch market onboarding team as a KYC/KYB Analyst, based in Barcelona. You'll be responsible for reviewing and deciding on Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) documentation during the account-opening process. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
• Reviewing client and company documentation to determine whether accounts can be validated or rejected
• Making outbound calls to clients to request additional documents and explain compliance requirements
• Conducting reminder calls to keep onboarding processes moving and prevent bottlenecks
• Monitoring pending validations and flagging items at risk of delay
• Escalating blockers and out-of-scope issues to the backline compliance team
This is a frontline compliance role with real decision-making authority. You'll work with tools like Zendesk and Notion, and you'll report to Francesca De Zotti, Team Leader for Dutch and Belgium onboarding, who has prior management experience at fast-scaling companies like Meero.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Fluent written and spoken Dutch
• Fluent English (Qonto's internal working language)
• Comfortable making multiple outbound calls daily
• Analytical and detail-oriented mindset with ability to justify compliance decisions
• Understanding of payment institution compliance and the weight of validation/rejection decisions
