Halter is backed by tier-1 investors including Founders Fund, Bessemer Venture Partners, and DCVC.
As Key Account Manager for Montana/Idaho, you will own a portfolio of large enterprise ranching businesses, managing relationships from pilot stage through full-scale integration. You are responsible for customer success, retention, and expansion within these strategic accounts.
Key responsibilities include:

- Strategic account ownership: Build trusted relationships with operational leaders and executive stakeholders; own outcomes and drive long-term growth
- Executive engagement: Work directly with senior leaders, boards, and multi-entity decision-makers; surface strategic pain points and tailor solutions
- Network building: Develop relationships with rural professionals, consultants, and industry influencers who shape purchasing behavior in your territory
- Enterprise growth strategy: Collaborate with Business Development and Sales to create account plans, drive territory expansion, and identify new revenue streams
- Cross-functional leadership: Partner with product, support, and sales teams to champion accounts internally; coordinate training and rollout strategy
- Revenue forecasting: Contribute to accurate forecasting and strategic planning; track account performance and identify risk/growth signals
You thrive in high-pressure environments, navigate complex organizational structures, and adjust communication for different stakeholders (boardroom negotiations, ranch manager conversations, executive reporting). You have deep ranch systems knowledge and a natural ability to drive operational change. Frequent travel required. This is a high-stakes role critical to Halter's enterprise market growth.
