Infinitum is a pre-IPO climate tech company backed by leading climate funds, headquartered in Austin with manufacturing in Saltillo, Mexico. The company has achieved strong market traction with major customer wins and is now scaling its go-to-market organization. The Key Account Manager serves as the primary liaison between assigned key customers and internal teams (Sales Ops, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering). This role owns the complete customer lifecycle from order intake through delivery, ensuring alignment on forecasts, commitments, and issue resolution. Key responsibilities include: **Customer Relationship Management:** Act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, building and maintaining long-term relationships through regular touchpoints including forecast reviews, order status updates, and issue resolution. **Revenue & Forecast Management:** Own customer forecast accuracy and alignment with internal SIOP/S&OP processes. Drive pipeline visibility, maintain accurate Salesforce records, and identify opportunities to optimize revenue timing to meet quarterly targets. **Order & Execution Management:** Oversee the complete order lifecycle—PO receipt, order entry, scheduling, and delivery. Ensure customer request dates align with Infinitum ship dates, coordinate shipment strategies (partial shipments, expedited orders), and verify contractual obligations are met (Kanban, FG strategy, lead time requirements). **Cross-Functional Coordination:** Partner with Supply Chain and Manufacturing on build schedules and material availability. Collaborate with Engineering on product releases, ECOs, and technical issues. Align with Sales on pricing, contracts, and order accuracy. **Issue Resolution & Escalation:** Proactively identify risks to delivery, quality, or customer satisfaction. Lead resolution of order discrepancies, delays, or product issues with clear and prompt customer communication. Manage accounts receivable escalations. **Process Improvement:** Identify gaps in order management, forecasting, and communication processes. Drive improvements in tools and reporting visibility. Support standardization of account management best practices. Success is measured by revenue attainment vs. forecast, forecast accuracy, on-time delivery, customer satisfaction/retention, and order cycle time. Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field. 3-7+ years in account management, inside sales, or customer operations (preferably manufacturing/industrial). Strong understanding of forecasting, supply chain, and order fulfillment. Experience with ERP/CRM systems (Salesforce, NetSuite, Arena). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred: Experience in electric motors, HVAC, or industrial equipment. Familiarity with SIOP/S&OP processes. Experience managing complex, high-volume accounts.
