Frontera is a seed-stage AI-powered healthtech company reimagining behavioral healthcare for children with autism and other behavioral health needs. The company combines clinicians, technologists, and autism specialists to build HIPAA-compliant AI tools that help care teams work more efficiently. You will serve as IT Operations Manager, leading day-to-day IT operations across business and clinical teams. This is a management and coordination role, not a hands-on technical position. You will own an outsourced MSP relationship and junior IT staff, acting as the coordinating layer between vendors, staff, and stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: - Managing an outsourced MSP relationship and junior IT staff, overseeing their work rather than personally handling tickets - Supporting IT operations across multiple company sites with consistent standards and service levels - Overseeing infrastructure basics (hardware, software, networks) at an operational level, holding vendors and staff accountable for reliability and uptime - Managing core enterprise applications (Google Workspace, CRM, CentralReach) and ensuring smooth daily operations - Ensuring end-user support runs smoothly through your team or vendor, stepping in on escalations - Overseeing laptop and device provisioning for clinic and staff use - Leading IT operational projects—rollouts, vendor transitions, site setups—on time and within budget - Building working relationships across business and clinical teams, communicating clearly with technical and non-technical audiences Required qualifications: - 5-8 years of IT operations experience, including managing an outsourced MSP relationship or vendor plus junior staff (not just personally working the ticket queue) - Experience operating IT across multiple company sites or locations with a clear approach to maintaining consistent standards - Track record of leading IT projects end-to-end, on time and on budget - Comfortable managing outcomes through a vendor or team rather than doing technical work yourself Preferred experience includes supporting IT at a company shipping both hardware and software, healthcare or regulated-industry environment, or startup/fast-growth company experience where you built processes without existing infrastructure. The role is based in Frontera's Denver office, which offers a dog-friendly environment, catered lunches from local restaurants five days a week, robust snacks, and great coffee.
