Salary: USD 121,000 - 145,000 / annual

Hadrian is building autonomous factories to reindustrialize America, combining AI, advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing to help aerospace and defense companies build mission-critical systems up to 10x faster and at lower cost. Following a $1.37B Series D at a $7.87B valuation, the company is rapidly expanding manufacturing capabilities and scaling its Factory-as-a-Service platform. As IT Operations Lead, you will manage the IT function at Hadrian's Torrance, CA headquarters, supporting executives, engineering teams, design, program teams, and visiting customers. You will lead a small team of Technicians, Analysts, and Systems Admins, balancing hands-on technical work with team leadership and strategic IT planning. Key responsibilities include: - Lead the IT team day-to-day at HQ, setting priorities, clearing blockers, and staying hands-on to keep the queue moving and projects landing. - Build and evolve AI chatbot workflows, designing intents and integrating with Okta, Microsoft 365, Box, Jira, and internal systems. - Monitor ticket flow across HQ and factory operations, identifying patterns and converting insights into automation, chatbot skills, self-service solutions, and runbooks. - Own executive and white-glove support, ensuring fast and reliable assistance for executives, board members, and visiting VIPs. - Lead live AV for all-hands meetings, podcasts, and events, managing conference rooms and event spaces. - Partner with factory IT as a secondary focus, backing up site IT during rollouts, incidents, and audits while maintaining consistent identity, endpoint, and ITSM setup. - Coach and develop team members in workflow thinking, automation, executive support, and AV operations. - Partner with Security, Infrastructure, DevOps, Facilities, People Ops, and Production leaders to translate business needs into IT work. - Own vendor and license management, including negotiation and spend tracking. - Handle escalations and lead post-mortems on major incidents. - Hire and screen candidates as the team grows. Requirements: - 7+ years in IT, with at least 2 years leading a team or major program. - Strong background in corporate IT at a HQ or campus environment, supporting executives, engineering, and business teams. - Hands-on experience building AI chatbot workflows and ticket deflection flows in platforms like Serval, Moveworks, or similar, with measurable impact on ticket volume reduction. - Strong ability to analyze ticket data and identify automation, documentation, and escalation opportunities. - Real experience with executive and white-glove support, moving fast without creating noise. - Hands-on AV experience with conference room gear (Crestron, Q-SYS, Logitech, or similar), including setup, tuning, and troubleshooting under time pressure. - Strong technical foundation: service desk experience, core SaaS platform administration (Okta, Microsoft 365, MDM, ITSM), and ability to ship automation or integrations. - Track record running scalable IT functions with SLAs, on-call rotations, change management, asset lifecycle, and clean handoffs. - Comfort partnering with factory or field IT teams as a secondary customer. - Sharp written and verbal communication skills. - Steady judgment in prioritizing speed versus caution. - Ability to work on-site at Torrance HQ and surrounding locations with occasional travel. - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move hardware or AV gear. Preferred qualifications: - Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - Prior software engineering, scripting, or DevOps background. - Certifications such as Crestron CTS, AVIXA CTS, or Q-SYS Level 1/2. - Experience running IT across both corporate HQ and manufacturing sites. - Aerospace, defense, or regulated environment experience. - Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST 800-171, CMMC). - Experience building an IT team from small to full function. ITAR Requirement: Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
