Teamshares is a technology-enabled acquirer of small and midsize businesses, purchasing companies with $0.5M–$5M in EBITDA and integrating them into a platform that helps employees become owners. Founded in 2019, the company now operates 90+ subsidiaries generating approximately $490M in consolidated revenue across 40+ industries and 30 states.
You will build and execute a best-in-class investor relations function as Teamshares enters a critical growth phase as a public company. This is a hands-on, full-time role reporting to the CFO and CEO. You will be on the front lines of investor engagement, developing messaging, building relationships with institutional and retail investors, and proactively communicating Teamshares' investment story to the capital markets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing the investor relations strategy and annual calendar
- Managing investor communications, earnings calls, and investor conferences
- Building and maintaining relationships with sell-side analysts and buy-side investors
- Coordinating with the CFO and CEO on messaging, financial guidance, and disclosure strategy
- Preparing investor materials, presentations, and SEC filings
- Monitoring market perception and competitive positioning
- Supporting capital markets activities and strategic communications
This role is ideal for someone with 5+ years of hands-on IR experience at a public company, strong financial acumen, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with C-suite executives and external stakeholders.
