Squarespace is seeking an International Strategy and Marketing Lead to join its International GTM team in Dublin. This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on owning marketing and go-to-market strategy execution across European markets. You will drive the full spectrum of GTM activities—from market research and competitive insights to agency partnerships, content strategy, SEO strategy, and channel development—translating global strategic direction into localized execution across the EU, with particular focus on Germany and France.
Key responsibilities include: owning the GTM function for EU markets by identifying the right channels, customers, and messaging; partnering with local agencies on strategic marketing and SEO decisions, including content placement, on-the-ground research, and event execution; conducting market research across Europe to surface consumer and competitive insights that inform product and marketing strategy; and identifying and developing new marketing and distribution channels to drive meaningful growth. You will report to the Associate Director of International & GTM and work closely with the Manager of International GTM and Challenger Market Lead.
The role requires 3–5 years of marketing, brand, agency, or GTM strategy experience at a high-growth company. You should have proven success managing agency relationships from strategic briefing through execution and performance review, strong research instincts, and experience identifying and developing new marketing or distribution channels. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator comfortable with significant independence, capable of shaping strategy as much as executing it. An AI-first mindset is essential—you should be personally fluent in AI tools and able to identify where AI or automation can improve GTM workflows. German and/or French fluency is preferred but not required. The role involves regular travel across European markets (up to 30%), with current focus on Germany and France.
