Salary: EUR 84,630 - 157,170 / annual
DTX Pharma, a Novartis Company, is seeking an International HEOR & HTA Associate Director for Oncology based in Dublin, Ireland. This role reports to the International HEOR Oncology Head and is responsible for developing and executing Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Health Technology Assessment (HTA) strategies that maximize product value propositions and support patient access globally.
Key responsibilities include: leading the development of HEOR & HTA strategy aligned with product and access strategies; designing, executing, and overseeing HEOR studies and evidence generation projects with scientific rigor; generating fit-for-purpose value demonstrations across the research-development-commercialization continuum; ensuring HTA and payer evidence requirements are integrated into clinical development plans and integrated evidence plans; leading delivery of impactful HEOR deliverables such as Global Value Dossiers, cost-effectiveness models, budget impact models, evidence syntheses, and patient preference studies; contributing to access evidence integration into pivotal clinical programs and real-world evidence initiatives; developing communication strategies that translate clinical and HEOR evidence into compelling value narratives for diverse access stakeholders; building partnerships across International Value & Access, Medical Affairs, Therapeutic Affairs, Patient Engagement, Development, and regional teams; monitoring HEOR and HTA trends relevant to assigned therapeutic areas; and supporting implementation of new organizational structures with focus on agility and efficiency.
Required qualifications: Advanced degree (Ph.D., M.D., MBA, RPh, or equivalent); 5+ years pharmaceutical industry experience with minimum 3 years in HEOR-related roles; subject matter expertise in HEOR, HTA, and value demonstration; understanding of HTA/payer evidence requirements and decision-making dynamics in international (ex-US) markets; significant experience in global multidisciplinary drug development; strong knowledge of research methodology and statistical methods; extensive cross-functional experience with innovation-focused, agile mindset; and proficient English (written and spoken). Desirable: 2+ years experience in Neuroscience, Oncology, or rare disease therapeutic areas.
