Justworks is seeking an International Consultant for the Americas to serve as a strategic subject matter expert and trusted advisor for customers navigating complex international employment and Employer of Record (EOR) services across Canada, Latin America, and other regional markets.
In this role, you will be the definitive expert on EOR services and international compliance requirements across the Americas. You'll act as the primary advisor for complex cross-border employment nuances, terminations, local labor standards, and regulatory compliance—serving as the final point of escalation for high-liability HR and compliance inquiries. Your responsibilities include partnering with Legal, Product, and Operations teams to interpret global regulatory trends and influence international product-market fit and go-to-market strategies.
You will manage high-value customer accounts, addressing sophisticated, Americas-specific needs that require advanced jurisdictional expertise. You'll proactively identify EOR expansion and upsell opportunities, guiding customers through the strategic complexities of entering and scaling in new international markets. Your work will focus on retention and growth through an education-based approach, translating complex international regulations into clear, actionable guidance for both customers and internal partners.
Key responsibilities include serving as the voice of specialized customers to ensure Justworks' international infrastructure meets the needs of complex, multinational organizations; operating independently while contributing to team knowledge and scaling best practices; and utilizing deep global knowledge to advise customers on legally sensitive, region-specific paths forward.
You are expected to be consultative, proactive, and passionate about turning nuanced challenges into actionable solutions. You build trust easily, collaborate across teams, and advocate for customers while strategically mitigating risk for the business. The role requires deep knowledge of varying regulatory environments, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to handle open-ended, high-risk compliance scenarios.
