ComplyAdvantage is seeking an International Affairs Research Analyst to support the development of its SaaS-based anti-money laundering (AML) solutions. The role focuses on sanctions and watchlists data coverage, helping organizations combat financial crime.
Key responsibilities include executing research assignments on sanctions and warning lists scope, assessing accuracy and quality of existing data, identifying coverage improvement needs, and collaborating with Product and Data teams to exceed client expectations regarding data coverage and quality.
You will take ownership of correctly assessing updates to the company's sanctions database and execute internal quality assurance processes to ensure data is displayed accurately to clients. This involves measuring and building out data coverage related to targeted financial sanctions, sanctioned vessels, and warning lists.
Ideal candidates possess excellent research skills with a holistic understanding of issues, broad knowledge of government structures worldwide, outstanding attention to detail, and a methodological approach to research. You should thrive in collaborative environments with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to mentor colleagues. Proficient English is required.
