Lambda is an AI cloud infrastructure company serving tens of thousands of customers from researchers to enterprises. This role bridges the gap between business teams and engineering by identifying and solving internal tooling and reporting gaps.
You'll partner with business stakeholders to transform manual, spreadsheet-driven workflows into trusted, self-serve data products and automated systems. Key responsibilities include:
**Data Products & Reporting:** Define key metrics with stakeholders, contribute requirements for converting manual reporting into live executive dashboards with drill-down capability, and prioritize which reports to automate based on manual effort, staleness, and error rates.
**Workflow Automation:** Identify spreadsheet-driven work worth automating, scope fixes, decide what to build directly (lightweight scripting, no-code tools, AI-assisted coding) versus what needs full engineering builds, write engineering-ready specs, and identify opportunities for AI agents or automation.
**Intake & Prioritization:** Manage the tool-request pipeline by collecting, triaging, and prioritizing requests based on impact versus effort. Maintain a visible roadmap and build relationships with supported teams.
Success is measured by reduction in manual work, dashboard adoption and trust, a visible and trusted tool-request pipeline, and quantified time savings per cycle.
You bring early-career experience in product, business operations, analytics, or technical program management. You're comfortable working directly with data, spreadsheets, and lightweight tooling (SQL, no-code platforms, AI coding assistants). You have exposure to designing workflows from an end-user perspective and a track record of shipping something tangible—a tool, process fix, or internal script.
Core competencies include end-user experience judgment, prioritization across noisy backlogs, lightweight execution using AI-assisted tools, cross-functional relationship building, and clear written communication for specs and roadmaps.
