Adyen is seeking an experienced Internal Control Officer to join its global Internal Control team in São Paulo, with a focus on financial risks and Brazil-specific oversight. This role is part of Adyen's mission to strengthen internal controls and enable sustainable growth across its payments and financial technology platform.
You will assess and strengthen Adyen's global financial and reporting processes and controls, with particular emphasis on financial risks in Brazil. Your responsibilities include evaluating financial and reporting processes to identify improvement opportunities, performing independent review and testing of controls, identifying and reporting control deficiencies to management, and managing audit requests (SOC1/SOC2) to ensure successful audit cycles.

You should have hands-on experience designing and implementing internal control frameworks, strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unstructured environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, as is comfort operating independently across time zones and cultures.
