This is a strategic operating role reporting to the Head of Communications with a dotted line to the Cofounder and CEO at Lovable, a rapidly scaling AI software platform. Your core responsibility is ensuring company leadership communication is clear, consistent, and compounds as the organization scales across multiple continents.
You will own the internal narrative and operating rhythm, designing recurring communication cadences that ensure every employee understands strategy, priorities, and reasoning—not just announcements. You'll connect the internal story to the external narrative so employees hear one consistent message across all channels.
Key responsibilities include: partnering with the CEO to ensure consistent, compounding communication; owning high-stakes moments like fundraises, strategy rollouts, and reorganizations; elevating company-wide all-hands meetings and presenter quality; building an AI-native internal communications engine that automates production work (input gathering, drafting, aggregation, measurement) while preserving human judgment for editorial decisions and sensitive moments; and coaching leaders and managers to become better communicators, equipping them with standards, tools, and talking points.
You'll measure understanding rather than reach, building lightweight feedback loops to test whether messages actually land and whether employees can articulate strategy in their own words. When data shows a message isn't landing, you'll feed that signal back to leadership rather than simply polishing wording.
You're an operator and general problem solver with a track record in demanding environments. You may have grown up in communications, or come from chief of staff, founder's office, strategy, or consulting roles with exceptional writing ability. You've earned the trust of a founder or CEO, advised without ego, pushed back with evidence, and handled sensitive, high-stakes communications. You're AI-native, instinctively reaching for AI to gather and aggregate information, and excited to build internal tools. You read organizations well, understand cultural nuances across European and US offices, and are discreet, low-ego, and steady.
