The Internal Channel Enablement Lead is a strategic, cross-functional role focused on optimizing the performance of internal Go-To-Market teams as they engage with the partner ecosystem. Unlike partner-facing enablement, this role works inward—ensuring Channel Sales Managers and sales teams have the tools, knowledge, and processes to be highly productive while leveraging partners to win deals.
Key responsibilities include:
**CSM Onboarding & Productivity**: Design and lead ramp-to-revenue programs for new Channel Sales Managers, ensuring they understand the ecosystem, internal systems, and partner engagement models. Identify productivity gaps and develop targeted enablement interventions to improve partner recruitment, activation, and management metrics. Create and maintain assets like playbooks, guides, and reference materials that streamline CSM workflows.
**Internal Cross-Functional Alignment**: Serve as the primary internal authority on partner program rules, tiering, and incentives. Build processes enabling Direct Sales and Channel Sales to co-sell effectively with clear Rules of Engagement. Act as the "Voice of the CSM" to Product, Sales Ops, and Marketing teams, ensuring new content and tools include necessary internal training.
**Strategic Program Management**: Lead internal rollouts of New Product Introductions for the channel. Manage internal communication for partner strategy shifts. Track and report on CSM ramp time and correlation between enablement initiatives and channel quota attainment.
**Tactical Execution**: Host regular internal "Channel Clinics" and workshops. Scope and execute enablement requests from Sales Leadership with full project planning from pre-launch to post-launch assessment.
You bring 5+ years in Internal Sales Enablement, Channel Operations, or Sales Training, with specific experience supporting internal channel teams preferred. You excel at translating complex partner program rules into actionable guidance, influencing cross-functional leaders, and balancing strategic roadmap design with tactical execution (slides, documentation, training modules). Strong project management and organizational skills required.
