Zinc is seeking an Integrations Support Manager to be the technical voice and central hub for all integration-related questions and operations. You will own the end-to-end integrations experience, from pre-sales discovery through customer go-live and ongoing support.
In this customer-facing technical role, you will not write production code but will be deeply fluent in APIs, integration patterns, and HR/ATS systems. You'll join pre-sales, sales, and account management calls to explain integration capabilities, data flows, and limitations. You'll support customer HR and IT teams through setup (credentials, field mapping, permissions, sandbox testing) and train internal teams so they can handle routine questions independently.
You will manage the integration inbox and internal Slack channels, triaging and resolving customer issues or escalating to the Tech team with clear documentation. You'll investigate failed syncs, missing data, and mapping errors, spotting patterns and feeding insights back to Product and Tech. You'll build and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base covering every live integration: how it works, setup steps, known limits, common issues, FAQs, and customer-facing guides.
As new integrations are built, you'll work closely with the Tech team to scope requirements, test from a customer perspective, and prepare Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, and partners for launch with documentation, training, and demo setups.
Key responsibilities:
- Join customer calls to explain integration capabilities, data flows, and constraints
- Support customer setup and enablement through the full integration lifecycle
- Triage and resolve integration issues; escalate complex problems with clear write-ups
- Build and maintain integration documentation and knowledge base
- Train Sales, Account Management, and Customer Success on integrations
- Collaborate with Product and Tech on new integrations and partner enablement
- Spot patterns in customer questions and feed product insights back to the team
Requirements:
- 2–4 years in integrations, solutions engineering, implementation, technical support, or similar customer-facing technical role
- Hands-on experience with HR or applicant tracking system integrations, ideally with Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or HiBob
- Working understanding of REST APIs: endpoints, HTTP methods, JSON payloads, authentication (API keys, OAuth), status codes, and webhooks
- Comfort using tools like Postman to make test calls and read responses
- Ability to explain technical detail to non-technical audiences in calls and writing
- Disciplined approach to managing a busy shared inbox and multiple Slack channels
- Confidence working across Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Product, and Tech teams
Bonus:
- Knowledge of HR data models and processes in Workday, SuccessFactors, or similar
- Experience with integration platforms or middleware (Workday Studio, SAP Integration Suite, Merge, Kombo, n8n)
- Basic SQL or scripting
- Experience building a knowledge base or help center from scratch
- Background in screening, background checks, recruitment tech, or HR tech
- Familiarity with CRM and support tools (HubSpot) and UK GDPR in integration context
