Local Infusion is a fast-growing specialty infusion provider transforming patient care through exceptional clinical delivery and AI-driven technology. The company serves patients, clinicians, health plans, health systems, employers, and pharma partners.
As an Intake Coordinator ("Infusion Guide"), you will be the operational backbone of the patient intake and referral process. You'll handle all aspects of infusion referrals, including obtaining insurance authorizations, conducting financial counseling, investigating patient benefits, and liaising with referring providers to gather necessary documentation. You'll communicate referral status and the infusion process to patients in a customer-centric manner, maintain open communication with prescribing providers, and assist with medical inventory and office supply management.
This is a full-time, onsite role in Mason, OH with Monday–Friday hours (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM). The company provides a dedicated 6-week training plan to set you up for success. You'll work in a respectful, mission-driven team environment with predictable hours, autonomy, and a manageable workload.

**Requirements:**
- Healthcare experience required
- Prior experience in infusion therapy preferred
- Insurance prior authorization experience
- Medical terminology knowledge
- Overall medical insurance experience
- Ability to quickly learn new applications
- Strong familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- Ability to read and interpret medical charts
- Negative TB test (within last two years)
- Current BLS certification
- Hepatitis B and influenza vaccination records requested at onboarding
