As Insurance Operations Associate, you will be a versatile operational leader for INSHUR's Dutch and European operations, reporting directly to the Netherlands Director. The role begins with ownership of broker and direct customer support portfolios as they run off through year-end, then expands into broader operational responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include: enabling product launches by assisting with new commercial insurance products and pricing revamps; safeguarding compliance by managing the complaints register and ensuring Dutch regulatory timelines are met; supporting strategic partnerships through deck preparation and materials for partner and capacity provider meetings; providing front-line operations support for broker and customer inquiries; and context-switching between support, marketing assistance, and audit preparation.
You must be fluent in Dutch and English, with core insurance knowledge (understanding policy anatomy, exclusions, schedules, MGAs vs. brokers). The ideal candidate demonstrates high agency and autonomy, thrives in ambiguity, and is an AI advocate comfortable experimenting with tools. Insurtech or tech platform experience is a plus, as is Excel proficiency.
