SoFi is seeking an experienced Insurance Agent to build and scale the SoFi Protect business, an in-house insurance agency serving SoFi members' protection needs across Life, Home, and Auto Insurance. In this role, you will engage potential and current members via phone, email, text, and chat to provide guidance on insurance coverage. You'll manage a pipeline of both SoFi members and direct-to-consumer leads, driving the complete insurance sales lifecycle from intake through quoting to fulfillment while navigating SoFi's panel of insurance providers. You'll identify cross-sell opportunities, help close coverage gaps, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance the business. As part of a small, early-stage team, you'll be integral in building core processes and functions that define how insurance is sold at SoFi. This is an opportunity for go-getters who want to shape the future of a newer business line and accelerate their careers in sales and operations. You'll assist the Business Lead of Protect with operational build-out and have a voice in making the business better. Required qualifications include 2+ years of experience selling Property & Casualty Insurance, valid state active licenses in Property & Casualty or Personal Lines insurance, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proven interpersonal and sales abilities with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. You must be able to multitask, stay organized, analyze members' needs to provide tailored solutions, and approach problem-solving with self-motivation, resourcefulness, and entrepreneurial flexibility. Nice-to-have qualifications include independent agency experience working with a broad range of insurance carriers, servicing experience, and life insurance experience. Compensation ranges from $41k–$100k+ in the first year through a combination of hourly pay and incentive compensation, with top performers able to exceed $100k.
