Instacart Business (inclusive of Instacart Health) is scaling rapidly and seeking a Business Insights Lead to own end-to-end reporting infrastructure, analytical frameworks, and insights delivery. This role sits at the intersection of data, strategy, and commercial execution, serving as the analytical partner for internal leadership and the single point of accountability for external partner reporting. In your first year, you will build a trusted reporting system with partner-level insights and dashboards that give GTM leaders timely, accurate visibility into business performance. You'll establish an external partner reporting program with clear frameworks, reliable delivery cadences, and consistent data quality. You'll develop a track record of surfaced opportunities through deep-dive analyses that diagnose performance gaps and point the business toward actionable growth across Instacart Business and Health. You'll implement recurring analytical programs—retention, cohort analysis, pipeline health—that track metrics critical to commercial success. Finally, you'll strengthen the analytics foundation by closing reporting gaps, building scalable self-service tools, and establishing cross-functional partnerships that maximize the underlying data infrastructure. This role requires someone equally comfortable building analytical infrastructure and telling compelling stories behind the numbers—an operator who can move from SQL queries to stakeholder-ready narratives without losing rigor. You must have 5+ years in analytics, business intelligence, or insights, including 2+ years in B2B, commercial, or GTM-facing contexts. You need a proven track record owning end-to-end reporting programs from data sourcing and modeling through delivery and stakeholder communication. Strong SQL proficiency and expertise with BI/visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Mode) are essential. You should have experience building and maintaining recurring, full business-line reports and analytical frameworks at scale, with strong communication skills to frame findings clearly and influence cross-functional partners and leadership. Familiarity with sales performance metrics, pipeline tracking, and customer retention frameworks is required. You must be comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where priorities evolve and business context matters as much as technical skill. Preferred qualifications include experience in technology, marketplace, or B2B sales environments; familiarity with CRM data (Salesforce) and downstream reporting connections; experience building external partner-facing reporting programs; and a track record of turning ambiguous problem statements into clear, scalable analytical outputs.
