Veeam Software, the Data and AI Trust Company, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for the Commercial segment covering New York and New Jersey territories. This role is ideal for a sales professional ready to drive growth through proactive outbound prospecting, customer engagement, and pipeline management. You will generate new business by identifying and pursuing sales opportunities within your assigned NY/NJ territory through outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups on qualified leads. You'll deliver compelling product presentations and demos tailored to customer needs, while building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline using Salesforce.com. Close collaboration with Veeam partners and resellers is essential—you'll arrange joint calls, coordinate sales activities, and support partners in closing deals. Key responsibilities include market penetration through strategic account targeting, nurturing existing relationships, and leveraging partner networks. You'll consistently meet and exceed individual and team sales targets, directly contributing to Veeam's growth. You'll stay current on Veeam's product portfolio and industry trends, sharing knowledge with customers and partners. Additionally, you'll gather and relay valuable customer feedback to internal teams to shape future product development and sales strategies. The role requires at least 2 years of B2B sales experience with high-tech products/services, preferably in Commercial or SLED sectors. Direct channel sales experience is strongly preferred. You should have proven ability to coordinate sales processes across teams (channel, engineering, marketing, field) and excel at building positive relationships with diverse individuals. Knowledge of the virtualization industry is valued. Salesforce.com experience is a plus, along with proficiency in MS Office tools. You'll work independently and thrive in fast-paced environments, adapting flexibly to changing roles and responsibilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but equivalent experience and education will be considered. The position offers a hybrid schedule (2 days in office, 3 days remote) with travel up to 25% or more.
