MaintainX, now part of Autodesk Operations Solutions, is seeking an Infrastructure Developer to join the Platform Engineering team. You'll design, build, and evolve cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS) using Terraform, ensuring every environment is reproducible and legible to both engineers and AI agents. Your responsibilities include building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions that make agentic releases safe by default, managing and scaling multi-region Kubernetes clusters, and maintaining Helm charts and deployment workflows as reusable components.
You'll strengthen observability across monitoring, logging, and alerting systems, feeding signals back into AI-assisted remediation while defining clear alert ownership. Security hardening is a core focus: you'll implement image scanning, policy-as-code, network segmentation, and firewall configuration. You'll partner closely with product engineering teams to support their infrastructure needs and enable developers and agents to deploy and manage services independently. Participation in on-call rotation is expected.
The role requires 5+ years of DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or software engineering experience with a strong AI-forward mindset. You should have expert-level proficiency with AWS (or transferable experience with Azure/GCP), production Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized applications. Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and strong collaboration skills are essential. You'll communicate complex platform trade-offs clearly to stakeholders and demonstrate expert-level English communication.
