As Information Security Compliance Manager, you will be the primary regulatory liaison and subject matter expert for Tide's India operations, managing all aspects of information security compliance within the Indian financial regulatory framework. This is a senior individual contributor role with significant autonomy and influence across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
• Serve as primary point of contact with Indian financial regulators (RBI, CERT-IN) and key local partners on information security matters
• Own and ensure compliance with all applicable Indian regulatory requirements including RBI Master Directions, data localization requirements, and payment security standards
• Define and enforce local information security standards specific to the Indian regulatory environment
• Lead and facilitate all regulatory-specific audits in India, including RBI Systems Audit Reports (SAR) and data localization audits
• Manage information security risk within the India context, interpreting and applying Indian regulatory risk management requirements
• Prepare and present comprehensive reports on security posture, risk status, and compliance efforts to senior leadership and regulatory bodies
• Proactively monitor the Indian financial sector for new or changing regulatory developments and advise leadership on necessary preparations
• Operate as part of the Second Line of Defence, providing independent oversight and challenge on information security controls against Indian regulatory mandates
You will need 7+ years of information security risk and compliance experience with heavy focus on the Indian financial sector, mandatory demonstrable experience interacting with Indian financial regulators, in-depth knowledge of RBI Master Directions and data protection regulations, proven experience managing regulatory audits (particularly RBI SAR), and exceptional communication skills for engaging with regulators and senior management. Relevant certifications such as CISM, CISA, or CRISC are strongly preferred.
