Instructure seeks an Implementation Consultant for the APAC region to serve customers through project management and technical consultation on their SaaS learning platform.
Project Management: You will manage the full project lifecycle—from requirements gathering and charter creation through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Responsibilities include preparing project schedules, identifying and mitigating risks, managing stakeholder expectations, coordinating with subject matter experts, orchestrating third-party services delivery, managing scope/schedule/cost changes, applying project controls for on-time and on-budget delivery, providing tailored status updates to diverse audiences, and conducting retrospectives for continuous improvement.
Technical Consultation: You will advise customers on critical SaaS configuration tasks including SSO integration with identity providers, data integrations with student information and HR systems, platform roles and permissions setup, LTI-compliant third-party app installation, and account hierarchy design. You will consult on content migration from competing platforms, identify AI use cases to accelerate time-to-value, build technical documentation, advise on JavaScript/CSS customization, scope and recommend technical solutions, guide API usage, and research client needs to improve consulting offerings and customer experience.
Required qualifications: Strong external stakeholder management for project delivery; experience designing, documenting, and communicating technical solutions in SaaS ecosystems; familiarity with multiple identity provider authentication systems; API experience and understanding of application integration; excellent written and verbal communication; ability to prioritize by timeline and business value; proficiency with web conferencing and productivity tools (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Calendar).
Desirable: Programming language experience; knowledge of technology deployment strategies in educational contexts; experience building custom reports and data visualizations; ability to help customers interpret data.
