BRINC is a vertically integrated U.S. drone technology company building autonomous systems for emergency response and public safety. The company designs and manufactures unmanned aircraft systems, autonomous drone stations, command-and-control software, and advanced autonomy. BRINC operates Drone as First Responder (DFR) networks that dispatch drones to 911 calls, providing real-time aerial intelligence to first responders. The company serves over 1,000 public safety customers across all 50 states, is the sole drone supplier to Motorola Solutions, and has raised more than $280 million from leading investors.
As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will help shape how BRINC supports, develops, and scales its people as the company grows. This is a foundational role where you'll build HR processes and playbooks rather than execute established ones. You'll partner closely with leaders and employees across the organization, serving as a trusted advisor on performance management, employee relations, organizational design, compensation, talent planning, and team effectiveness.
Key responsibilities include: partnering with employees, managers, and senior leaders to provide strategic HR guidance on employee relations, performance management, and organizational effectiveness; serving as a trusted advisor to leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, and people-related business decisions; coaching and developing leaders at all levels across the U.S. and Canada; providing guidance on employee relations matters while balancing employee experience, company values, business needs, and employment law compliance; leading performance management processes including goal setting, performance concerns, development plans, and promotions; owning and evolving the company's compensation philosophy and career architecture including job levels, career paths, pay ranges, and promotion frameworks; partnering on organizational change and strategic people initiatives; analyzing workforce data to identify trends and opportunities; balancing strategic partnership with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment; and maintaining strict confidentiality on sensitive matters.
You should be comfortable advising senior leaders through complex people decisions, coaching managers through difficult conversations, and rolling up your sleeves to create processes and frameworks the business needs. The ideal candidate will help BRINC scale thoughtfully while preserving the ownership, urgency, and mission-driven culture that defines the organization.
